What are the different mattress types at IKEA?

A key difference to the foam and latex mattresses, however, is that the open spring construction helps air flow through the mattress. This supports the ventilation in the mattress and can help you keep cool while you sleep. For some, it may give the mattress a fresher, airier feeling.  

How long does a mattress last?

Like a good Swedish meatball recipe, a quality mattress should last you 7-10 years. But just as we evolve our furniture designs, your mattress needs can change too.

Keep an eye out for saggy spots or that "I've-slept-on-a-park-bench" feeling - that's your cue to say "hej då" (goodbye) to your old mattress and "välkommen" to a new one!
